The Fourteen Links of Baptist Succession Back to ChristButton back to previous page

Elder R.A. Tindall

As do we.  And what of our claim?  It is possible to trace the history of the Primitive Baptists

to the time of Christ.  Many have undertaken the task and found the route undeniable

through recorded histories.  Elder R. A. Tindall of Amarillo, Texas did extensive research

on the matter, utilizing numerous volumes to establish verifiable links from today to the

time when Christ walked the earth.  Here is the chain Elder Tindall’s study revealed.

All Old Line Regular Primitive Baptists can show by church records, history, fellowship,

doctrine and practice a link, prior to the division of 1832 to;

The Baptist Church at Dyersburg, Tennessee which was organized by J.W. Jetter a man

who came from the  Philadelphia association.

Hillcleft Church, Wales, England had a man by the name of  H. Roller who came to the

Philadelphia association In AD 987. The Hillcleft church was organized by  Aaron .

The Lima Piedmont Church ordained Aaron in 904 AD.

Lima Piedmont was organized 812 AD by Balcolon who came from the church at

Timto in Asia Minor.

The Timto Church was organized in 738 AD by  Archer Flavin.

Archer Flavin came from the Darethea Church which was organized 671 AD in

Asia Minor by Adronicus.

Adronicus came from the Ponta Fossi Church at the foot of the Alps in France.

It was organized by Tellestman  from Teran Italy, AD 398.

Teran Church was organized AD 327 by Tertullian from Big Joy Africa.

Tertullian was a member of  Partus Church at the foot of the Tiber River, organized

150 AD by Polycarp.

Polycarp was baptized on 12-25-95 AD by John the Beloved.

Jesus was baptized during the summer of 26 AD by John the Baptist.

This is the fruit of much study on the part of myself, but can be found by

anyone willing to make an extensive study of the history of our Baptist church.

This is written with our prayer that it may inspire you to greater loyalty and service

to THE church founded by our Lord Himself.
